Ping Rapture V2 Driver
The first noticeable difference from the original Rapture driver is the racy lime green color on the shaft and the soleplate. But the changes aren't merely cosmetic. In what Hollywood might call a plot twist, Ping has equipped the V2 with a super lightweight stock 939 shaft in L through X flexes. This is almost exactly what my plan was. I was going to get 6-PW/SW, as I have hybrid 3,4 and 5 that I really like. According to the golf shop I spoke to yesterday, its not different in price if i order the clubs individually vs ordering the set. The clubs are priced the same no matter what. This makes them pretty affordabel, as I wond have a 3,4 or 5 iron just sitting around. If I want I can order them later as well.
In my opinion, I think that you should go with the Ping Rapture V2 Series (http://www.wholesaleclubsgolf.com/Ping-Rapture-V2-Series-937.html). The Raptures, from what I tried, are a very good club. In fact, I know of a guy who switched to Raptures's, and he's near a 5 or so handicap.
We have found many junior clubs were just basically adult clubs cut down to length with very little thought being given to grip thickness and flex of individual shafts.
