Arts and entertainment this is what makes tourism in Madrid so thriving. But there is almost no city in the world that could compete with Madrid in terms of art.
Prado Museum (Museo Del Prado) attracts a lot more visitors than any other museum in Spain. However, it is not far behind from a rather impressive private collection of the Thyssen-Bornemisza (Thyssen-Bornemisza) and modern masterpieces of the Reina Sofia Museum (Museo Reina Sofia). All three museums are forming a so-called Golden Museum triangle, which is known throughout the world.
Lazaro Galdiano Museum (Museo Lazaro Galdiano) is named after the businessman who bequeathed his vast collection to thewcity. Perhaps the collection of this museum and is not as comprehensive as the Museum of Thyssen-Bornemisza but it has its interesting sites. While a stunning collection of the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum collected by the Nazis , Museum Lazaro Galdiano collected 13 thousand paintings and art objects. You can contemplate the masterpieces by El Greco, Murillo, Zurbaran, but you can still plunge alone into the dark depths 'Black paintings' of Goya.
In 1975, after the death of the Spanish dictator Franco, the country has witnessed birth of a new masterpiece - Movida madrilene. Then there was an abundance of different branches of art, from graffiti to photography and contemporary art collectives. The focus of this movement has become Moriarty Gallery (Galeria Moriarty), which remains one of the best contemporary art galleries in the city. It exhibited paintings by Spanish artists such as Luis Bisbee, etc. giving a background image to Berner and Mireya Sentis.
The art gallery of Salvador Diaz (Salvador Diaz) has fabulous pictures that make you think of the most important things in life. It also encourages artists of all areas of avant-garde art, focusing on the modern Spanish artists such as designer clothes, Ivan Lopez and Jose Manuel Ballester, who specializes in abstract sculpture and photographs of urban landscapes. However, tourists often overlook this gallery, giving preference to the Reina Sofia Museum. Exhibition at the Art Gallery Trama (Trama) occur in the same direction. Here exhibit their works of outstanding artists, such as the modern landscape painter Edward Resber and artist Javier Campano, a town of monochrome photographs of Madrid.
